# Access shared folders from iPhone/iPad

In this article, you will learn how to access another device's shared folder from an iPhone or an iPad.

## Before you begin

## Access shared folders

To connect to a shared folder from an iOS/iPadOS device:

1. Copy the sharer's Nord name from the NordVPN app.

2. Open the **Files** app and switch to the **Browse** section.
3. In the upper-right corner, tap the More <img src="https://3559400189-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F0cTezbT2vN0lurEio8Z5%2Fuploads%2FFEbtqv2YQL7cmH2Rrv9b%2Ficon_meshnet_more_blue.svg?alt=media&#x26;token=11f0a3bf-162c-49cd-88cb-76d5519a486a" alt="" data-size="line"> button and select **Connect to server**.

4. In the **Server** field, paste the Nord name followed by a slash (/) and the shared folder name.\

5. In the upper-right corner, tap **Connect**.

6. Select **Registered user** and fill in the required username and password for accessing the shared folder.
7. Tap **Next**.

The shared folder should now be visible in your **Files** app.

To access the folder at a later date, you can find it in **Files**, under the **Shared** section.
