# Access shared folders from iPhone/iPad

In this article, you will learn how to access another device's shared folder from an iPhone or an iPad.

## Before you begin

## Access shared folders

To connect to a shared folder from an iOS/iPadOS device:

1. Copy the sharer's Nord name from the NordVPN app.

2. Open the **Files** app and switch to the **Browse** section.
3. In the upper-right corner, tap the More <img src="/files/CCx8RTTzCv8qYY5qXIQt" alt="" data-size="line"> button and select **Connect to server**.

4. In the **Server** field, paste the Nord name followed by a slash (/) and the shared folder name.\
   &#x20;\
   **Example**

   `secret.meerkat-pyrenees.nord/MeshnetFolder`\
   &#x20;
5. In the upper-right corner, tap **Connect**.

6. Select **Registered user** and fill in the required username and password for accessing the shared folder.
7. Tap **Next**.

The shared folder should now be visible in your **Files** app.

To access the folder at a later date, you can find it in **Files**, under the **Shared** section.
